LOS ANGELES – Mar. 7, 2018 – The Giumarra Companies is pleased to announce the hiring of Jay Robinson as Sales Manager for its Giumarra Southeast division. Mr. Robinson brings over 20 years of produce sales and marketing experience to the role.
“Jay’s comprehensive product and market knowledge will be integral in our initiative to expand our business,” says Stu Monaghan, Division Manager of Giumarra Southeast. “Last year, we launched Nature’s Partner Vidalia® and Peruvian sweet onions. This year, we’re adding Nature’s Partner-branded organic Vidalia sweet onions and look to continue expanding our line of fruit and vegetables.”
Mr. Robinson most recently worked with L&M Companies as a Sales Specialist and Organic Commodity Manager. His primary responsibilities with Giumarra Southeast will be to help expand the division’s product line, oversee existing customer accounts, and develop new business.
“I’m excited to join the Giumarra Companies and I look forward to the upcoming season,” says Mr. Robinson. “There are some great opportunities that lie ahead with such a strong company and I’m pleased to be part of our growth in the Giumarra Southeast division.”
In addition to offering organic Vidalia onions new this year, Giumarra Southeast plans to introduce imported citrus to its lineup this summer on the East Coast.
