Food Safety Programs

We have a food safety department dedicated to providing growers and customers with the certification they require. Our food safety department works with our growers and customers by providing the services and expertise necessary to produce the healthiest products available. Our growers employ Good Agricultural Practices programs and the Eurogap protocol for products destined for Europe and the U.K. This includes grapes, avocados and tree fruit from Chile; tomatoes, melons, grapes, peppers and berries from Mexico; apples, pears and kiwifruit from New Zealand; and grapes, tree fruit, berries, kiwifruit and a number of other items from the US. Our food safety services include: Developing and implementing grower food safety programs that are both economical and effective, Support in dealing with government regulations, Support with phytosanitary issues, Traceback and Recall, Responding to customer inquiries and requirements, Handling food safety, phytosanitary and regulatory issues, Involvement with industry research groups.
