It was not long ago that avocados were considered an exotic fruit. Today, avocados are widely available year-round from both California, Florida and from international sources that include Mexico and Chile. The most popular varieties, Hass and Fuerte, are available from Giumarra's Escondido shipping facility under the Nature's Partner^TM brand.

California's season accounts for more 50 percent of the total U.S. consumption, with the oval shaped Hass commanding the lion's share of demand and popularity among consumers. Giumarra also imports avocados from Chile and Mexico. During the winter Giumarra has both Hass and Fuerte varieties available from some of Chile's and Mexico's premier exporters.
