Chile is located along the western coast of South America between parallels 18º and 57º south. It is a long narrow country supporting a very diversified climate that allows it to grow some of the finest fruit in the world. In 2001, Chile exported 1.6 billion tons of fruit to the world markets. The Giumarra Companies imports a complete line of grapes, stone fruit, apples, pears and kiwifruit.

New Zealand has long been recognized as an exporter of premium agricultural products. The Giumarra Companies works with New Zealand growers to bring apples, stone fruit and berries to the North American market.
