Located on the southern coast of California, between Los Angeles and San Diego, the rolling fields of Giumarra Carlsbad operations are the source of quality tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, squash and strawberries.

Established in 1980, Giumarra Carlsbad is a perfect companion to the West Mexico winter vegetable deal. It offers Giumarra's customers first of the season quality from the San Diego county.

From June through January, acres of pole tomatoes are cultivated in these fields. Giumarra Carlsbad vine-ripe tomatoes in the Carlsbad brand offer high quality fruit that are picked at the breaking stage. This vine-ripe fruit offers buyers premium flavor, perfect for meeting the needs of a growing consumer that demands the fresh, just picked flavor.

Giumarra Carlsbad packs tomatoes in two to three layer bulk boxes. Together with the vine-ripe program, Giumarra Carlsbad has roma, saladette and cherry tomatoes. We also offer bell peppers, celery and cucumbers.

Giumarra Carlsbad harvests strawberries from January through June. All of the berries packed under the Carlsbad brand are hand harvested and packed in the field by experienced workers. Several of these workers have been a part of the Carlsbad operations for many years.
